Excellent value grower Champagne from impeccably farmed vines in Hautvillers. Pure lemony fruit, brioche.

Terroir :                                                  100% Hautvillers

Grapes :                                                40% Chardonnay – 30% Pinot Noir – 30% Pinot Meunier

Assemblage :                                         35% vendange 2016 – 65% vin de réserve (2010 to 2015)

Vinification :                                          95% en cuves inox thermo-régulées – 5% en tonneaux

25% with malolactic fermentation

Mise en bouteille :                               April 2017

Dosage :                                                  7 g/l

They farm 11 hecatres which comprise of vineyards they wholly own and 3 hectares owned by other members of their family. Laure and Clement came back to the estate in 2007 and took full control in 2014. Clement previously spend a few years with Selosse. Since taking over they have removed chemical herbicide and pesticide from the vineyards in favour of a more manual and engaged form of viticulture, helping the wines to take a big step forward in terms of concentration and quality.
